Ayush Kasliwal, the Creative Director of ANANTAYA, graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Ayush is the winner of first Messe Frankfurt, India 2015, EDIDA India, Designer of the year 2013. He won the Best of Year Awards 2015: USA by Interior Design Magazine.Ayush was the finalist of CII Design Awards 2015, India's Best Design Studio by Pool magazine 2015. The UNESCO Award of Excellence recognized his designs in 2007 and 2008. Edition Nouveau Objet (ENO), France, launched Ayush as a designer. Showcased in the Talents à la Carte section of ‘Maison ét Object’ in Paris and a finalist in the British Council’s Young Creative Entrepreneur Awards 2011, he has licensed products to MATER, a Danish ethical design house. He collaborated with Incubis' sculptural installation at Delhi International Airport Terminal T3. Ayush’s work is informed by traditional crafts and artisans and it reflects a deep understanding of mythology, architecture and culture through a contemporary aesthetic. He believes that “Objects are messages in physical form”.
Geetanjali Kasliwal is the Managing Director of ANANTAYA, interacting with clients around the globe. A graduate architect from TVB School of Habitat Studies, New Delhi, Geetanjali completed a post-graduate course in management for women entrepreneurs from ISB Goldman Sachs BIMTECH in 2013. She was awarded Women Of Future 2016 by FICCI Flo, Tamanna Udaan Ki Women Entrepreneur 2015. She has conceptualised and organised the festival 'Maahi Roj: Earth Day Everyday' based on sustainable practices for the earth, annually since 2013. A mother of three girls, she actively promotes women’s empowerment and social responsibility while mentoring the next generation. As a consummate collaborator, Geetanjali Kasliwal has brought her design sensibility, organisation skills and modern approach to the craft sector of the Indian economy, assisting in reorganising the non-formal sector and improving the livelihood and identity of the artisans through an integrated retail organisation providing sustainable futures for Indian artisans and their communities. Her core belief is to ‘Be an agent of change with an eye on future while deeply rooted in her distinctive past'.
ANANTAYA, under the direction of Ayush and Geetanjali, has a creative team of professionals that have Master Artisans working at the core of the organization side-by-side with Designers. Clients are invited to meet the front line team at the Retail Showroom supported by Marketing and Communication Departments. Administrators, Accountants and Logisticians work with the Masters, Apprentices and Managers at the Factory and the newly expanded Production Facility and Warehouse for an organization that reaches out around the globe. We work together to make our customers happy, and for ANANTAYA to be a reliable and transparent India brand serving the world.
